Even if you're wearing the helmet and tuned to the same "channel" so you can see all the munitions and such, it's happening so high up that you'd be seeing dots shoot dots at other dots.
But whatever maybe the duel involved use of a camera drone that's watching them and its hooked up to their "match" so the footage shows the digital munitions.
