I easily keep up with the combinations, starting to tire more than I expected after about 5 or so minutes.
i did discuss this with xxxxkill and he said a 94 was ok for physical score

My justification was that if Yui was in the Air Force at all she'd've been put through the same rigorous training as all of the other flying jarheads she shares a squadron with. You don't get into the air force on a free pass in NAUC, especially not if you're a tiny little Kino.

Tippy is an Olympic-level judoka and Gus is a long time kickboxing/muay thai champion. Self defense training is different from dedicated martial arts.

Yui is also a foot shorter and half the weight of Gus.

just keep that in mind I guess

yes, we did consider that, and we decided on the following scores: 58 on cardiovascular endurance, 20 on body composition, 9 on pushups and 9 on situps, giving us the previously mentioned toyal of 96.

speedy robo jaw

unfair

yeah no, if we're just gonna dice roll everything im out. wanted to do this to make some fun base events with my char and maybe one or two others, and only between us. disregarding common sense especially in this context is just BS. please leave it at pad training unless your char was built with this in mind

Dice rolls and DM intervention are in place to prevent powergaming. I'm sorry if you want to show off your character laying out a little girl unopposed because he's such a big guy for her but that's the way this works. You don't resolve your own fights and say "I win because I'm so cool."

This has been between players the whole time, and this is pad training not sparring. Gojira hasnt once messaged me on steam to talk about fighting, and I think its correct to assume an average person would have some difficulty keeping up with mid or high level training or actual fighting. The dismissiveness of gus is just because she's uh, tiny in general and especially compared to tip and gus

that makes sense then
we don't dice roll everything out iirc
the fight just has to have a gm to prevent powergaming and will be less dice than any mission thus far

i thought rolling or the GM was the way it worked

An actual fight is managed by GMs. Your pad sparring will continue uninterrupted unless it gets to a point where I or Qwepir has to step in. Managing actual fights and whatnot is there so that more than one person is having fun during a fight. An utter stomp isn't fun, especially if somebody else is involved.

no I mean I'm not going to fight period if a GM has to interfere

the two players decide the outcome, moves and what hits beforehand.

guys i need your help
does this wargame stuff look balanced

Good, that's less stress for us because squadronmates shouldn't be fighting each other to begin with. I don't want to have to DM a fight between players, but a pvp fight without direction can EASILY turn into "i got you", "nuh-uh". It sucks either way.
