oh ok
ok so
i say that all the gm determines is the injuries
we determine whether or not we hit, and try to avoid powergaming when doing so
sound good?

no I mean I'm not going to fight period if a GM has to interfere

the two players decide the outcome, moves and what hits beforehand.

Are you going to argue with them until you can allow Gus to win?

The GM is impartial, and only decides the success/failures of your moves.

Say person 1 decides to never get hit

what now

it's a lot of unnecessary extra work that will take an unnecessarily long amount of time

there's literally no point when two players can discuss and decide between themselves what's gonna happen. Also: less thread congestion with short posts

Are you going to argue with them until you can allow Gus to win?
gus isnt even fighting anyone everyone calm down

why does the gm have to manage a fight that's blatantly stacked

you have a near-professional heavyweight league guy who stands at what, 6'4? vs your average pilot who generally doesn't see the ring much if at all

in what world would you need a gm to decide such a simple beatdown

David and Goliath effect. No matter how tough and professional you are, life can still bite you in the ass when it feels like it.

I'm not going to continue this argument when it's clearly going absolutely nowhere. If you think you can resolve this without power-gaming then go right on ahead.

Great news though, nobody is gonna actually fight so lets move on and address it later.

The sparring match is interrupted by a mortar landing nearby outside the gym building. You can't tell if the CRAMs didn't fire for some reason or if you've got so used to them that you didn't notice them going off.

"What the forget?"
Shards of glass are everywhere. I don't have any memory of doing anything but I am now on the ground.

Walt hears the bang in the distance from the hangers and turns to one of the nearby techs.

"Is it common for the CRAMS to miss a shell or two?"

Faw (right after "fixing" his bed with a length of pipe and some duct tape) rushes over to the impact zone of the mortar shell. He takes a quick glance around to see if anybody is hur or needs help.

I look down and apparently I am bleeding in several places.
