i dunno 112 base EV seems pretty broken, she literally can't fail tests without negative modifiers unless she rolls 100 (that being said there are like, no tests without negative modifiers)

the fenrir really needs a buff in some department. its extremely obvious that its the worst T5, and hell, its not even really all that remarkable as a T4. besides the sulla, every other plane is either supermaneuverable or a very tough gunship. unless we get a shipment of 17 there is literally no reason to fly it

i would personally suggest either bumping its ordnance points to 70-ish, giving it dual coaxials or giving it supermaneuver/higher general maneuverability

First of all the Sulla is even worse and its only merit is being able to take PPCs at 6 cost, even then there's a cap on PPCs because seriously imagine a Sulla entirely loaded with PPCs.
In regards to giving it higher maneuverability, with Very High it's hitting around 70 EV, in regards to ordnance I would say that this is a legitimate complaint as the Flanker-C gets 70, and Corsair gets 75. However, the coaxials probably aren't changing. Because it gets a heat ray. Though one could argue that compared to the other uniques (The AKSM which is almost a PPC+, and the Nosferatu gets two of them; The UAC/10 which is like strapping a Howitzer to your plane; The Fusion Ball Projector which is literally "I fire you die"; The MML-7 which is 7 independently targeted HSMs; The SWM which Xiaomei didn't take on this simulation because everybody would've been down to orange and red across the board in a single hit) the Fenrir's heat ray is kind of piddly.

i disagree, the sulla has decent maneuverability, has good speed, and while its ordnance leaves a lot to be desired it has technophile and specialization energy. Its ALSO an omnifighter, which is like the cheesiest designation ever because it makes all missiles cheap.

advanced scanning/targeting acquisition, reveals enemy munitions and can detect stealth/cloaked aircraft as if they were non-stealth.
direct data link to allied artillery and ground assets
super personal g-scram/lams, takes up equipment slot
laser designation similar to TAG beacon/RGM target circle, takes up equipment slot
ESAM free or half-cost, takes up equipment slot
change classification to omnifighter or multirole
adv AAM/A2A missile, using both built-in radar and IR guidance, using only one countermeasure is ineffectual
free artemis IV, takes up equipment slot

i dont really like special rules, it just makes for more of a headache when considering it in dice rolls and such

normal stat boosts would be great. fenrir looks like a Widow/PAK-FA/F-22 type stealth fighter, it really needs supermaneuver or at least better normal maneuver stats. ordnance boost obviously. and switched to omnifighter or something? or just a general rework of plane types, because omnifighter is cheesy as hell

In response to this I would like to point out that I proposed a different plan for this post, wherein instead of even distribution of munitions, Xiaomei dumped AAMs on everybody, as she did, and Yamashiro dumped a full MMS-20 salvo on Bell's Sabre. The following turn, Xiaomei would've dumped her own MMS-20 on Sabre's Sabre, with the most likely result being both Sabres going down and Raiden holding a 2-woman advantage. If not, then they're still sitting on a heavy advantage and Xiaomei could've easily gotten on the tail of whoever survived the initial barrage.
Qwepir declined to use this tactic because he thought it would be too effective.

Damn, she slipped out fast! Richard immediately fires his last AAM high off-boresight at the Wyvern before pitching into an out-of-plane maneuver. That missile better connect! He tries to barrel loop around, hoping he can cut into the Wyvern's turning circle and get in position for another shot.

that sort of tactic is fine against NPCs but i wouldn't unleash it on the players. not without warning at least.

He immediately breaks away from the Wyvern, punches the burners and heads for the Rafale. The Sabre drops a few hundred feet in exchange for a small boost.

"Stay to your right half a mile! Break left on the merge and try to get on the Wyvern! I'll turn left to drag her into you and try clear the Shinden off your tail!"

... Xiaomei would've dumped her own MMS-20 on Sabre's Sabre...
