Richard eyeballs the Rafale for a moment.

"It's probably worth mentioning the enemy won't be so hesitant to fire on our friendlies once they clear the stone district. A single explosive to any of the bridge supports can sink this entire operation. Stay alert."

The enemy armor continues to fall back towards the city, and Tippy's old crew begins carefully negotiating the most damaged part of the bridge. Neither group currently knows about the other's presence, and they are headed straight for each other. Contact between the two is imminent, though from the looks of things, the NAUC forces will likely at least be past the bridge midpoint by the time they spot each other.

Gus flicks over the radio channel. "Ground forces, you have retreating elements of Huit armor heading straight towards you, be aware."

Jalko pins Jaakko at the shoulder and Talko tears out Jaakko's throat from carotid to carotid.

Vapor clouds build up on the Sabre's trapezoidal wings as it swings around in a spiral and comes in parallel with the ground forces.

"Mjolnir to ground, CAS approaching from the Southwest, coming in hot." Richard looks out the canopy for the PAK-FA. "Guns on the armor." He places the lasersight on the near end of the column and drags a single PPC beam across its length.
