Once everyone's in the air, I circle for a moment to see if Aero takes off.

"We better head out, he can catch up with us on the way there."

Ellie banks to change her heading towards the interception point.

I follow Ellie.

"Have you heard about Mjolnir before you were transferred to this squadron? I've heard that most of their flight leads have either been killed or maimed in some way."

"No, I haven't heard that. Wonder why that would be the case?"

You approach the interception point and begin receiving comm traffic from the incoming contacts.
: Sir, I really don't think we must cross ocean to get home.
: For last time, we cannot go home with that thing following us. So, we fly over Aesthia and have them deal with it for us, then return home and say we did it all ourselves!
: Oh, very clever! We will be heroes!

They enter radar range, but have not noticed you yet, due to being too far for the eye to see. However, they are on a path that will take them over Aesthian territory if they continue.

A child recognizes Jaakko's Mjolnir patch, and asks to get s picture. He obliges, but is torn by the public perception of his squadron, and the horrors he has committed and seen be committed against his squadron.
