Jalko sniffs at Lorens' hand, then bows before him, hanging his tail over his back. He hops up, and Talko runs up and places a paw on Jalko's back. The two real backwards and start playing and making a racket in the office block.

"He- wait, not here!" Lorens tries to get in between the dogs and grab their attention.

alright so time passes, gus gets swole, the deployed portion of mjolnir undertakes a few more uneventful patrols (except markus, who scrubs toilets and never finds that vending machine), klara goes to watch the cruiser launch by herself (though everyone in the entire community hears it), jakko gets bullied more by tippy, and everyone is recalled back to valhalla airbase

Being back at Valhalla pleased Gus. The "gym" he had been going to, if you could call it that, had no bags and barely any free weights. At least the people there were friendly, but that doesn't do much for your physique, he concluded.

The sight of rows of heavy and speed bags was refreshing, and he returned to them immediately and with zeal.

Gus takes a break to re-wrap his hands with tape. Between hands he notices one of the transfers, Aero if he remembered correctly, over at the bench. Besides him, there were few others in the gym - checking in for the night, he concluded.

"Hey, new guy - Aero, is it? How are you doing?" Gus says across the gym. It occurs to him that he shouted, and to that end he moves closer, still re-wrapping his right hand.

Lorens cuts his smartphone alarm, sits up and rubs the sleep from his eyes. He checks the time and wonders if the other pilots are back yet. Aside from playing with the dogs and getting an earful from the office admins, things have been rather uneventful for the young CAS pilot since he's arrived on-base. Eager to see if anyone's returned, he throws on his uniform and walks out the door.

"Hey," Aero says as he tries to take a 45 pound weight off a bar. "I'm doing ok," he responds shyly.
