The Shikra takes all three seekers to the front armor, emerging from the cloud the aeronautical equivalent of a flaming skeleton. With its lift-to-drag ratio thrown all out of whack, it begins slowly losing altitude, aiming for the building but with enough of a starboard drift that it could end up missing entirely.

Skeleton Plane, Skeleton Plane, Skeleton Plaaaaaane!

A colossal dog appears in the Djuriskas common room, carrying a TV remote in his mouth.

A lanky dog appears, pursuing the other dog and head butting him. The largest one releases the remote and the two begin play-fighting.

Jaakko can be heard pursuing them, but is far behind, calling their names.

Walt looks over the field as his guns cool down for his next target through the clouds of dust and smoke.

Gus fires off his two AAMs, hoping to bring down the Shikra before it can do any more damage.

The control tower is a pile of rubble, several hangars are either destroyed or caved in, just about every exposed vehicle has been wrecked, and the HQ is riddled with holes and collapsed in several places.

The missiles hit the Shikra in the front, blowing it apart. Instead of slamming head-on into the building, it is shotgunned across a city block and the evacuated streets below in much smaller, less destructive pieces.
: Got him! Good kill, Tempest!

With all planes destroyed, Mjolnir's objective has been accomplished. Up to Tippy now, whether to continue pounding the base or head home.

: What the hell is this?
: Looks like a couple of dogs.
: I can see that. Check their collar, find out who they belong to. I want to know who's responsible.

The dogs stop playing and face the two pilots. Talko trots skiddishly and away from the unfamiliar pilots. Jalko approaches the pilots and sniffs inquisitively.

Jaakko can be heard yelling the dogs' names in the hallway. He comes through the doorway and is a bit surprised by the Djuriskas's presence, having anticipated the room being empty.

"Oh," he says.

"Oh," he says.
The big one is checking the dogs' tags, while the tall one just points at them and glares at you.
: Are those yours?

is that you, scott summers?

Jalko seems guarded as the mountain man checks his tags. Talko keeps backing up, with his tail between his legs

"Yes, they're mine," jaakko replies.

He eyes the remote on the ground.

He eyes the remote on the ground.
: Why are they allowed to run off without a handler?

"They don't need to be watched all the time," Jaakko says.

He walks over to the remote and carefully grabs an end that isn't covered in drool.

Markus looks over the rest of the base.
"Good gods."

"They don't need to be watched all the time," Jaakko says.
You hear someone else mutter something before their squad leader launches into a tirade.
: Oh boy here we go.
: Oh, yes they sure as hell do. I don't know how you did things back on the Delta, but up here, we've got rules. Allowing your mongrels to run wild across the entire facility is a transgression of at least two of them, and unless you have written approval from Colonel Erkens (which, given the lack of accountability you've just displayed, I have reason to doubt), then their presence here at all is one big violation. Now are you going to buy a leash or am I going to have to file a report?
