Justin thought of the food as okay. Sure, it was artificial and bad, but to be honest, he never really thought about food. It wasn't a big priority. The main priority was flying.

Although, the noises in his stomach didn't sound good. He should probably care a bit more.

It's now midday two days later. Raiden and Djuriskas are currently up in the air having their wargame, the technicians are still inspecting Walt's weapons, and Coaxoch and Perreault are playing foosball while Geroux watches TV in the rec room.

Bell continues working on an F-20 alone in a hangar, the vertical stabilizer and the left wing have been detached from the plane. The roosterpit's electronics and the wiring for the flight control system has been removed from the fighter to be reinstalled later. On a bulletin board on the inside of the hangar, there are diagrams for an X-29 prototype that preceded the development for the Berkut by a couple of years.


Ellie goes jogging around the base.

It's news from the Delta. The Emperor has been assassinated and the remnants of the Huitzitlaotani government are arguing among themselves over the successor. Geroux just stares at the screen, mouth agape, and it doesn't seem like either of his squadmates heard the TV.

Yui walks over to the hangars to her Razorback, finally back from repairs. The roosterpit is completely repaired, the holes in the canopy gone, the instruments repaired as well. She paints all of the kills she has underneath it, then starts painting half of a small Zentragothic sky-destroyer a few inches below that.

Jaakko sits in the rec room, watching the news as well.

He leans forward and rests his head on in hands, balancing his arms against his knees.

"Holy stuff, this is gonna spill over and get millions killed," he remarks.
