"Also, I wouldn't recommend Faw, you saw how he flew on the last sortie." She takes out a folder from a filing cabinet next to her desk, and opens it, showing a photo of a fully-loaded Hornet flying over the crash site of an air carrier in the Kirazan desert. "Consider your choices carefully."

Roger slaps the magazine in the side of the gun, it felt weird having the weight of the ammunition stick out the side of the weapon. If he weren't controlling it well enough with the bipod, it'd probably slump over to the side as his arms became more tired.
He acquires 3 targets further out from the ones Tippy was shooting at.
"Oh right," Roger pulls the charging handle.
"Got to do that, almost forgot."
He takes aim and fires in short bursts much similar to Tippy's pattern

am I missing something

the imperial "STG" isn't an stg44, it's more akin to a modernized fg42
but calling it an fg wouldn't be logical, because that means "paratrooper rifle"

seems like guns in this universe are built to a uniform Chinese knockoff standard

gm is just a dumb and forgot to apply a trait that modern guns would logically have
it has been patched, military grade guns will now only jam on a 100 unless they are specifically noted to be poor in quality or suffering from extended use

Didn't jakko just fly with gladiator on the airship dock raid? If the character doesn't remember flying with him then that might be the extent of Faw's usefulness.


"Before you hooked up this squadron, our unit was assigned to provide escorts for a NUAC aerial battle group, when it came under attack we launched from the carrier. While the rest of the wing was trying to hold off the attack, two of the pilots were doing nothing as the carrier made a crash landing and two escorts cruisers were completely destroyed. They were able to get the carrier operational again, but plenty of people died when those two could have helped. Gladiator is the only other one alive from that mission, and he's one of the guys who were just loitering around, I think the other one died in his sleep a while back. Sabre and our first flight lead flew on that mission too, so he would have been able to tell you some stories, heh."
