Jaakko yelps as he is hooked by the Pertinax and brought to a rest by being bashed against the hull. His helmet protects his head.

"forget!" he screams.

He has no access to a radio, as his pilot bag is dangling between his legs, being bashed against the side of the airship. He grabs his harness in fear and looks up, wondering if he could scramble up the ropes, or if his chute will even hold.

Jaakko grabs his lines and attempts to make his way up the side of the ship, slipping at first, but gloves providing protection against rope burn. He tries again.

Rather than return fire, the Hyperion turns tail and begins moving to disengage from the fight.

He is able to climb up to a flatter, almost level surface on the topside. From where he's standing, he can hear muffled gunfire and the ship's alarm, and looking in the direction of the noise reveals one of the breaches the marines used to get inside.


"Let the Hyperion go, or chase it. Just know that if there are more planes coming it would have been best for the lot of you to have resupplied at AWACS."

Walt turns to the Hyperion to fire one last PPC shot

After failing to get on the tail of the drone, Ellie is left to look at the Hyperion fleeing the combat airspace at a faster pace than she can hope to catch up with. Since Walt didn't call out his shot, Ellie has to break to get out of the way.

"Gah! Watch your fire!"

She levels off the aircraft, heading to the AWACS to resupply.

"AWACS, are you picking up any more enemy communications?"

Jaakko considers hiding on the deck, not wanting to be murdered by a Zent or mistakenly shot by his own. He considers hiding in an assault pod, then maybe slipping out once the ship is heading home.

He hides from the superstructure and looks around for an assault pod and the holes they would have made, bracing himself against a turret wall and opening up his pilot bag.

The assault pods didn't punch through the hull, merely embedded themselves into it. Additionally, some of them appear to have since fallen off, judging by the numerous empty dents surrounding you.

Jaakko decides against getting lost in the Rostigs when a pod falls off.

He digs through his pilot bag to produce his sidearm and some rounds of ammunition. He is left with three magazines, two with regular rounds, one with tracers. He mistakenly loads tracers, as if it would matter anyway.

There's one very nearby, where the marines must have used a shaped charge to blow open an entrance. Careful not to trip.
