"How'd it go? Also, where's Crash? I noticed he didn't touch down."

"His flying glass shard took a hit and he had to eject, somehow he managed to land on the Pertinax then managed to also get shot in the leg. He's alright and should hopefully be back soon."

"...I see. Where's Fa-"
Yui spots him climbing out of Walt's aircraft.
"So, two of our own got shot down? What the hell kind of kit did they have?"

"We downed enough of their own fighters in return, bagged three of them myself. The others managed to nab two nosferatus, I wish I had gotten the Hyperion."

"What's a Hyperion? Good job, by the way."

"What's a Hyperion? Good job, by the way."

"Hyperion is some fancy Helian drone with a bunch of gadgets, hopefully I don't have to encounter it again because it's a pain to deal with."

Walt pauses to work his hands a bit

"Thanks, I seemed to have received very little attention from any of the adversaries during that fight though."

Jaakko looks around at his surroundings.

Having taken a stopover on the way back to refuel, the Warthog enters Valhalla's airspace at roughly the same time the others touch down. Lorens sets it down gently and takes it into the hangar for repair.

Up close, the damage is clear: a large hole surrounded by molten slag mars the nose of the aircraft where the particle bolt struck. The cavity runs deep, and a clear line of sight can be drawn all the way to the titanium plate protecting the roosterpit, which also bears a telltale scar. Lorens shudders, thinking of what might've happened had the bathtub not been there to protect him.

All in a day's work, I guess. Once everything is said and done, he quietly leaves the hangar and treks back to the main complex.

Jaakko looks around at his surroundings.
You're in a military hospital, on a cot in the ward for low risk/nonlethal injuries. There are ten other casualties present, four Aesthian marines and six Imperial crewmen, all with light gunshot wounds (at least, as "light" as a gunshot wound can get). Compared to the medical wing at the Deltan airbase, this one is far more comfortable and well-equipped to deal with patients.

Tippy sits out on the top of a concrete barrier watching the base activity bustle about. She takes a swig from a cream soda she had procured from the kitchen with a little bargaining from the messhand. Over near a hangar she could hear the plane technicians talking and laughing while mingled with the sound of a small portable TV sitting on the toolbox, emitting faint sounds of civilian issues far away from the war.

TV:-standing outside the Dorites® brand headquarters- *static* company has delcared bankruptcy *static* factory workers stand outside in protest *static* Dorites flying off the shelves. *static* Value skyrocketed. Is this the end for Dorites®? Back to you Dan.

Gus has some trouble landing the PAK FA. The Helian's gun had done a number on it, and he realizes that he was still alive only due to the plane's remarkable resilience. His worry over the squad overcomes this, and he heads to look for Jaakko and Faw.

Jaakko looks around and tries to see if Imperials and the Aesthians are conversing together. He also noticed a TV, running coverage about the Dorites company collapsing.

"The recipe of Dorites are considered to be trade secrets by the company and the industry. The rights to the brand as well as the recipes are anticipated to be bought up by sister company Mound Ewe, with which a proposed merger was abandoned due to the Dorite's spoiled assets-"

Jaakko considers checking up on his squadron in Valhalla, but considering that he's at an undisclosed location, that there probably no lines to the outside world.

The Aesthians and Imperials are certainly not conversing with each other, having been more or less segregated into different ends of the room with a buffer zone of empty beds between them.
Virvel enters the room, twirling a captain's hat around her finger and slinging her rucksack over her other shoulder. She pulls up a seat next to Crash.

Gus goes looking for Faw.

Gus arrives in the medbay shortly after, and is pointed in the correct direction by an over-stressed nurse.

He walks over to Jaakko as Virvel finishes her sentence.

I believe Jaakko is not at Valhalla, I'll correct it if I'm wrong.

"Annoying," he grumbles, "Even with pain meds, there is a dull pain. You wouldn't believe how tired getting shot makes you feel,"

He takes a breath and rights himself. There are bags under his eyes and an adhesive bandage on his chin.

"Doc said they're pushing me back into service as quick as they can," he croaks, "It's been what, a day maybe?"

He studies Virvel, who is entirely unscathed, and as he remembers, she's psychotic as well.
