"you guys can have it if you want, was Morten's share the same as everyone else?"
: Aw, thanks pal. Morten didn't place a bet, so he didn't get a cut.
: Yes I did!
: Instead, he convinced Frisk to "share" his.

"13 just for the winner seems a little shy, so go ahead and bolster it with my share. I think for that many drinks you deserve a bit more of a reward."

Walt looks over to Virvel again

"How was dealing with Crash on the Pertinax? I heard he got clipped by it and somehow got to the bridge."

"Did i puke on them?"

"No, don't worry," he replies, "Still feeling okay?"

Jaakko boxes his own food.

: You're damn right

Walt looks over to Virvel again

"How was dealing with Crash on the Pertinax? I heard he got clipped by it and somehow got to the bridge."
: He held the door pretty damn well, even though one guy got through and beat the absolute bag out of him.
: It was actually pretty funny, I couldn't see everything from where I was flying that thing, but I got to see the Imp deliver a real slobberknocker to his gut, and when he cried out for help he got shot by one of our own meatheads. It was almost comical.

Eremit looks like he's about to interject, but shakes his head and holds his tongue instead.
: Of course, if he had been killed or crippled, I wouldn't be laughing; but he's recovered pretty well, so I don't feel bad.

"How did he manage to get shot by one of ours? did he get in the way?"

"How did he manage to get shot by one of ours? did he get in the way?"
: Something hit us in the engine section, and the whole ship shook from the impact. Must have thrown off their aim. I mean, Jaakko was in the process of getting his ass handed to him at the time, so the two of them were pretty close together. If I were calling the shots, I would have charged the bastard with my knife. Jaakko wouldn't've been shot that way.

"I believe those shots to the engine would be AGM's from a tornado which I failed to block, I got the other two though. You seem to be fairly favourable of your knives I hear, what would the reason for that? special issue or something?"

: They're just so much fun! Nothing makes you appreciate your own life more than fighting for it with a blade.
: I mean, dogfighting comes close, but hand to hand is so much more personal, you know?

"The only thing I really do with a knife is skinning, I prefer to be less personal with a rifle and behind some foliage. Of course that's just the 'pansy' way of doing it though."

: Huh? Wuh?
: You know, the Captain of that ship thought she could try her luck with a gun, too. Didn't work out so well for her.

"How many kills does your squadron have?" Jaakko asks the Djuriskas at the table.

"You likely got the jump on her? I'm betting she had her gun holstered when you were coming at her."

"You likely got the jump on her? I'm betting she had her gun holstered when you were coming at her."
: Alright, story time: We had all entered the bridge and were rounding up the crew when the Captain pulled a gun, pointed it at Eri, and started babbling about... something, I'm sure, but I don't speak Gothic. I did a bit of math in my head, figured I could make it, and then lunged at her. Instead of doing the smart thing and capping him first, she tries to point it at me and shoot. Surprise surprise, her shot missed, and she didn't get a chance to shoot again before I tackled her to the ground. She kept trying to grab my knife hand to prevent me from plunging it into her, but a couple blows to the head set her straight. From there, I just stabbed her in the throat, then the chest, wash, rinse, repeat until Kommandant reminded me she wasn't moving on her own power.

"How many kills does your squadron have?" Jaakko asks the Djuriskas at the table.
: One hundred and forty seven.

"Impressive, you're lucky she missed the shot. I think dealing with weapons having the proper positioning and awareness is key from my point of view, at least."

Walt pauses

"If you're a pilot then how many - uh, "ground" kills would you have?"

"With the wealth of experience you had, and how you guys waxed us in the simulators a while back, I honestly would have believed that you had outpaced us kill wise," Jaakko replies.

He hangs his head a bit and studies objects on the table.

"We don't have a low turnover though, one could make the argument that we lose experience as fast as we may gain it. The squadron that started the war, was not the same squadron that saw the end the Pact forces on Kiraza. The squadron that saw the end of the Pact on Kiraza, is much less of the squadron that is seeing the Imperials on the home front today,"

He looks up and at objects across the room.

"And the squadron that started the war could not find a trace of its existence except in Bell who is the Actual,"
