Cualli smiles again at the robot's reply. "He wanted something better to do than look after dogs; he wanted a proper job. I thought working as my assistant might be a good fit."

"That's... good, yeah," Lorens trails off, still taken aback by the robot's response. Feeling uncomfortable and unsure where to pick the conversation up, he decides its best he got going.

"Uh, well anyways I hope you don't go too hard on your assistant. I think it's about time for me to head back, I've got some business to take care of at the office. Thanks for fixing up the fighter. I'll see you around."

Lorens quietly excuses himself from the hangar.

"Hmph," Jaakko grunts, seeing their enthusiastic game.

He fiddles quietly with his crutch, trying to find a place to put it.

: I see.

Walter at this point has started to lightly exercise

"Speaking of dogfights though, and after hearing you talk some about ego -" Walter pauses to drink some water "Would you be interested in a wargame with me? I shot you down once and it didn't feel fair."

Cualli nods and sets to work, giving instructions to the robot on what tools to hand her from the crate that it fetched earlier.

The work only takes her about an hour, after which she climbs off the craft and looks at the robot. "We're done here; the rest of the engineers will handle the maintenance on the other two planes. I was planning on heading back to my room to wash up." She wipes the sweat off her brow as she says this. "What do you plan to do?"

"Lieutenant Colonel Zolnerowich."

Gus closes the door behind him quietly. He considers taking a seat but remains standing.

"I wanted to apologise for my attitude when you congratulated me for the promotion and medal. I should have been more grateful, receiving praise. I am uncomfortable receiving recognition for doing my job."

He shifts his weight between feet uncomfortably before continuing."

"That wasn't the reason, though. I may not agree with Major Kirves but I have respect for him despite his... shortcomings. The disaster at Tocatlan forced him into a position he wasn't ready for, and despite having the ability to retreat from combat with the Fenrir he did not and has not. He has a desire to improve himself and his command abilities, and while he is no Bell and certainly no Geary, with help he can be who Mjolnir needs him to be. I would hope you could teach him what he needs,"

He takes a breath, unconsciously putting his left hand over his stitches. Something is oozing from the wound, and the gauze is damp.

"as well as myself. Tocatlan showed me how vulnerable we were and I don't want to be unprepared if the time comes."

"Hmph," Jaakko grunts, seeing their enthusiastic game.

He fiddles quietly with his crutch, trying to find a place to put it.
: How'd your sortie go?
: He's been here all day.
: Oh, right, the crutches. How's your leg, then?

She sets down her dumbell and stares straight ahead for a second before sighing and giving her response.
: No. No I would not. To tell the truth, I do not want to set foot inside again any plane that is not meant to carry only passengers.

: I plan to shut down for the day.

Midway through Gus's speech, Kommandant glances up from his paperwork and looks him over. A look of concern comes across his face, but he waits for Gus to finish before speaking up.
: I appreciate your desire to help your squadron leader, but are you sure you should be up and about so soon after your surgery?

He glances down at the gauze, made aware of its existence once again. Through the thin cloth of the t-shirt he can see dull crimson seeping through the center of the gauze in two places. He looks up again before responding.

"The doctor would disagree, but I was wasting away strapped to a cot for two days. Walking feels nice."

He eyes the chair despite that.

Cualli raises her eyebrows at the robot's response. "You sure? It's still pretty early. If you want, we could head to the rec room or the temple together after I wash up, or I could wait on the shower and you can help me out in the gym."

She looks at the robot's face. "Unless you're really set on going to bed, or you want to do something else," she says, shrugging slightly.

She sets down her dumbell and stares straight ahead for a second before sighing and giving her response.

"That's understandable, I never thought about it but I guess you've seen your fair share of-"

Walter pauses mid sentence to try and find the right word to say that won't bother coaxoch but comes up dry

"- you know..."

"Sore and bruised," he says, "Sortie looks like they had a fight, saw some damage on Lorenz aircraft coming back,"

Yui finishes writing the mission report and heads to Bell's office to turn it in.

: I would disagree too.

He points with his pen to the red stain on your shirt.
: You're bleeding.

: I would prefer to visit the temple. Recreation is a waste of energy.

: Team-mates dying? Yes. I have seen enough of that to last ten lifetimes.

"Sore and bruised," he says, "Sortie looks like they had a fight, saw some damage on Lorenz aircraft coming back,"
: Only one plane damaged? Sounds like the bad guys didn't stand a- forget!

Frisk throws his arms up to congratulate himself after scoring a goal.
: Gotta pay more attention to the board, sister!
: Frisk, shut the hell up.

Virvel steps away from the table.
: Well, good to know everyone made it back in one piece.

"Yes."

Walter drinks some more water while he thinks

"It's a sort of odd situation; Me being on the other side and possibly contributing to that."

: I would prefer to visit the temple. Recreation is a waste of energy.
"I'll have to meet you there," she tells him. "I live on the airbase, but I don't think that security would appreciate me taking you off the airfield."

She starts to walk past the robot and toward the exit. "I'll be there in about thirty minutes, alright?" she says as she passes him.
