Jaakko is reminded of the hat and medal that sit on his shelf, overlooking his bed.

"I don't need it, I'm sure I'll see it again someday," Jaakko replies.

Talko stands in front of Jaakko. Jaakko grabs and extends Talko's scruff, revealing that like Jalko, you can make a sail out of the loose skin on the back of the dog's neck. Talko doesn't mind at all.

Gus finally realizes that Nagato does, indeed, intend to fight Virvel. He stands up and towels off, returning his weights to the rack. Grabbing a water bottle, he awaits the sparring session with amused anticipation.

Yui stops the treadmill, grabbing her water bottle from it and heading over to watch Virvel and Nagato fight.

The fight begins. I'm going to take it 3 rounds at a time because I'd like to give your characters opportunity to react to what's going on in front of them, but dragging it out with 1 round per post would take forever.

Round 1: Virvel comes out swinging, pushing Nagato towards the boundary of the sparring area with a rapid series of blows landing on her head, torso, and shoulder. Nagato retaliates by throwing a single easily-dodged punch. (For the sake of it I rolled damage to see just how that combat would have resolved if it were a real fight: Virvel's 5 hits would have done just one point of damage more than Morten's single punch to Cualli.)
