The Fenrir rolls down the taxiway. It's factory new exterior now marred by laser strikes, the worst ones appearing around the roosterpit. It parks in another hanger.

Jaakko takes a moment after parking and turning off the engines. The roosterpit falls dark for a moment before the roosterpit light comes on and the canopy slides off. Jaakko feels exhausted, from the fighting and arguing earlier. He is still drenched. He climbs out of the roosterpit and lowers himself to the hanger floor. He inspects the strikes on the roosterpit, and finds that had these been full sized lasers, chances are he'd have been killed.

Missing the bullet doesn't make him feel any better. The more he thought about the battles over Svirask, the more he was reminded of his last squadron and the battle of Taiton. The thought of losing Mjolnir in the same manner his old squadron had disappeared, bothers him.

The walk from the hangers to the indoors is exhausting and seems to take far longer than it had before. Jaakko is bothered by frustration, anger, feelings of guilt, fear, the feeling that he's made everyone so mad that he'll only have himself as company for a while. He tries to dismiss it with logic, but it does nothing to make him feel better.

He reminds himself that he's going to have to live with his decision, and this is part of it.

Yui spots Walter being wheeled past her bed, and wonders what the hell is happening. Yui flags down one of the nurses following him and asks, "What happened to him?"

Markus taxis into the hangar and goes through the shutdown procedure for the Tukreb, still very much incensed about not being allowed to stay and help Raiden recover their pilot. He wonders why he didn't stand up to Crash, but stood up to Xiaomei, and concludes that he'd at the moment decided he'd rather not get court martialled. He feels angry at himself for not disobeying the order, and not staying. Otherwise, despite having not felt very close to Roger, he feels like stuff knowing that he could have prevented his death, but instead chose to focus on the crippled bomber.

Tippy exits the hangar rubbing her temples trying to contain her frustration.

"Great. Just loving great. Lost Roger and now probably Matsumoto." She grumbles to herself, desperately wanting to scream into a pillow.
You get a few befuddled looks from the aircrews as you storm out of the hangar.

Yui (and by extension, Frisk) is filled in about how Walt got shot in the chest with a pulse laser.

"Oh, stuff. Hope he recovers."
Yui otherwise remains silent.

Walter, after some time has passed and things have settled down with the medical staff decides to prop himself slightly up (given he hasn't been instructed not too) and look around at where he's situated.

Cualli makes her way into the gym, taking a quick look around to see who's there.

Frisk notices you regaining awareness of your surroundings and waves.
: Welcome back to the land of the living.

Cualli makes her way into the gym, taking a quick look around to see who's there.
Coaxoch is there lifting weights, Morten is sparring with someone else, and Eremit looks like he's just about to leave.

Walter before replying examines where he was hit again and then turns back to Frisk

"I'm not quite sure how I managed to survive that."

Walter shifts his body a little to make himself comfortable in his bed for what little good it does

"I guess the roosterpit took the brunt of the damage but otherwise it feels like someone socked me with a sledgehammer."

Cualli heads over by Arkhip. "Hey," she greets with a smile.

: Heard you got shot in the gut with a laser, but what's the whole story? How'd that even happen?

Cualli heads over by Arkhip. "Hey," she greets with a smile.
He briefly glances up at you.
: Hello.

"I think it was a ... drone? If I recall correctly I was firing my flak into the group of them then one of the drones shot through my canopy and hit me in the chest."

He briefly glances up at you.
: Hello.
"Noticed your squad wasn't on the last mission or whatever," she remarks. "I heard from some of my coworkers that everyone that came back-- they said a couple didn't-- looked to be in a pretty stuffty mood, but I haven't gone to see what about. Guess something nasty went down out there."

: Ouch. Must have been a pretty naff gun if you're still here, though. What kinda drone was it?

: Oh. That's a shame.

: Come in.

Lorens steps through the doorway quietly.

"Hi, uh, Colonel Zolnerowich? I'm Lieutenant Lorens Zaman of the 514th SFW. I, uh... I've heard that a few of our pilots looked to you for some additional mentoring, is that right?"

"From what I saw, something that was dropped from an Imperial bomber. About nine of them for each bomber it seemed, each drone carried what I think is a downsized laser and two missiles."
