She's cut off by the brief klaxon which sounds to warn everyone on board that the vessel is about to enter a banking turn. (During non-combat maneuvers, the carrier typically rolls no more than ten degrees. Naturally this means that the turning radius is probably measured in miles)

Tippy nods agreeably and continues to sip her coffee, and starts flipping through a military catalog.

Ellie sits at Tippy's table and starts eating.

"Things like that are going to be annoying I feel,"

Jaakko wonders if the turn will make him lose his appetite.

Gus proceeds through the line and takes a seat opposite Yui, the table now rapidly nearing its maximum capacity.

"Care to elaborate?" she asks, still trying to find her way to the mess hall.

Ellie finishes her food and gets up from the table to return the tray.

Jaakko runs his hand through his hair.

"Tippy, do we have any candidates for a Wyvern pilot yet?"

"I wasn't aware that was my job. There aren't many of us with a Req. 5 you know, i figured it'd resolve itself."

Tippy emptys a creamer packet into her coffee and stirs it with a spoon. She raises and eyebrow as if she suddenly had a thought and pointed her spoon at Ellie.

"You. Do you wanna fly a Wyvern."

Ellie turns her head. "We have one now? I'll give it a shot then."

[Mr. Hurricane]

"Poor word choice on my part," Jaakko concedes, "Someone has to take it, that was one of Xiaomei's conditions."

Jaakko looks at his tea, and wonders if the ship is actually starting to bank, or if he's just imagining it.

Ellie turns her head. "We have one now? I'll give it a shot then."

Tippy gives Jaakko a look of "See?" and goes back to her coffee.

"Everything you'll need will be in the bag... Bell has it so go talk to her and see if you can get suited up. With luck its a one size fits all or happens to be tailored to your size."

Jaakko looks to Ellie.

"I'm sure it goes without saying, but do not lose it. Both Xiaomei and the pilot have stated the importance of this Wyvern,"

And put out thinly veiled threats in the case we lose it.

Elu grabs your shoulder before you step out of the bunk room.

A look at the fluid confirms the feeling in your gut, the carrier is in fact listing to one side.

Cualli stops and checks her uniform and notices the button she missed. "Oh," she says flatly, and fixes her fatigues. "Anything else?"

After finishing his breakfast, Graf decides to actually know the squadron better and sits down at Ellie's table, greeting her.

"Hello there. Before we got on this monster ship, I never really got the chance to meet you. The name's Hilbert Graf."

He holds out his hand for a handshake.
