Ellie sees a red flash go straight through the roosterpit; at first, she doesn't register what has just happened, but a quick glance at the hole in the canopy, and down to her left, she sees that her shoulder has been hit. A few seconds go by as the wind begins pouring into the canopy and washes over the burn, triggering a pain that cascades all at once. This was obviously unlike anything she felt before, the sustained supernova-like impulse from pain receptors in her shoulder is enough to make her vision flash white.
She lets out a hysterical, angry scream into the comms before going quiet for a couple seconds. With her right arm already on the stick, she presses all the 'fire' command buttons while ranting incoherently in both Aesthian and Gothic that whoever shot her just needs to die

"Bastards didn't even kill me, but they turned my loving shoulder into a crisp!"

All of the remaining ordinance and the LCB are fired at the Nosferatu. Then she turns tail and gets out as fast as she can.

The destroyer starts to lose control as secondary explosions continue to cook off ammunition and destroy key systems, culminating in the airship veering into a skyscraper. The building topples over, and the force of the impact shears the destroyer in two.

He struggles and twists against his restraints to look behind him and see if they are being pursued. He continues an erratic course to throw off the pursuers.

Lorens watches the Vigilant collide with the skyscraper, wide-eyed and distraught. Ark, forget! What have I done!? He could only stare as the toppled skyscraper and two halves of the destroyer fall into the city, kicking up a massive cloud of debris. His breathing becomes erratic as he agonizes over the fates of the allied forces positioned underneath.

"The canopy has been compromised and my shoulder is forgeted from that Tukreb's laser blast from earlier. Going to have to land soon."

Ellie keeps her right hand on the stick as she heads to the rendezvous. She looks at her shoulder again.

"Yeah, I'd like to land before everyone else."

[Mr. Hurricane]

"AWACS, I have an aircraft that needs direction to the nearest airfield. Mjolnir 1-4 has a compromised roosterpit and is injured," Jaakko relays in hurried tone.
