"You know what, I'll humor you. Simplify it for me and tell me as you would a child. I'm completely serious. I doubt i'll think any differently of the situation."
: Explain it as if you were a child? Fine.

Elu is silent while everyone else debarks, but before you leave he puts his hand behind his back and asks you a question.
: How many fingers am I holding up on my left hand?

From his spot on the roof, Gus can see the VTOL's occupants approaching the capsule.

Elu is silent while everyone else debarks, but before you leave he puts his hand behind his back and asks you a question.
: How many fingers am I holding up on my left hand?
"No way of telling. I do know where you're going with this though. Continue."

Tippy waves her hand for Elu to proceed.

: The chance to deprive the Imperium of new Helian equipment is probably far more useful than what they can derive from the hardware that Phobos has. We already have the means to deploy AI in our aircraft, we don't because of the malfunctions.

Bell readies her carbine and makes sure the firearm is fully loaded.

"No way of telling. I do know where you're going with this though. Continue."
Tippy waves her hand for Elu to proceed.
: There is a way of telling, you will have to walk around me and see for yourself how many fingers are held up. But when I see you go to look, I will have changed the variable to a different one than it was before, and when you are done looking I will change it back to what it was initially. This is called "deception", Captain Boone. I believe the Goths may be deceiving whoever should be, as you said, "inspecting them for liabilities from time to time". As a result, Helios believes the Goths are upholding their terms, when in actuality they are not. Do you understand?

: You're assuming the Helians are going to care enough that Izzy's forgetin' around with their toys to do anything about it. We send that thing back where it came from and the Goths are going to get a slap on the wrist and an angry letter, nothing more. I can't believe you're actually listening to that thing.

Gus waits for the VTOL to spool down to approach. He eyes the pod cautiously.

: Anyways, it's the Sky Marshal's decision, I'm not thrilled about having more droid pilots in the air, but maybe they'll be able to get them to not kill our pilots when they get hit by an EMP.

"Then Helios lacks even more perception than I ever will. And that's a lot. Helios is far too kind to their Allies to put that much trust in them. What is Helios expecting the Goths to do with killer robots and flying death machines? In a time of war. In this present time? The real truth seems far to apparent to me. Helios doesn't actually care, like they always have. Whatever their agenda is, it sucks. There should be more effort put out by Helios to protect its assets, because "The Goths didn't tell us!" isn't enough. Just looking out the window and guessing whats going on across the street isn't enough. You don't give a child a gun, then forget off to wherever it is you live and hope they don't pull the trigger. This is your people's incompetance laying bare naked out in the sunlight trying to practice damage control."

Tippy stops and takes a breath

"I'm sorry that our mission is to capture your friends and send them to R&D, but the more of you we have to fight and lose more men to is a stuff ton of stuff to bear. I had to watch 3 of their marines today burn to an ash because of your un-regulated weapons. You may change the number on your fingers, but you only have a finite number of them. I know what deception is, Elu, I don't need a barely self aware automaton to tell me that."

Tippy leans her head back and rubs her temple

: I'm more interested to see if they'll be able to figure out some way to, like, jam them or something. Make the enemy's ones not work.

: You told me to explain my point as if you were a child, and that is what I did. Do not berate me for doing exactly what you instructed me to. You utter moron.

Walter walks down along the sidewalk towards the pod

Gus climbs down the rooftop and heads towards the VTOL. He is surprised to see Elu and four other members of Mjolnir - one of them being Colonel Bell, no less. A wad of gauze is applied to her shoulder, and through the rear hatch Gus can see a soldier on a stretcher.

He looks between those present while Elu and Tippy berate eachother.

"What'd I miss?"

: They're just robot pilots, fully autonomous like human pilots. The only way to make them 'not work' without breaking our own equipment is to shoot them down using missiles and guns. From what we're recovering, these guys aren't remotely controlled, so jamming is out of the question anyways.

"Hey man, you trash talked from the start, i'm just returning the favor regardless if I asked you to or not. With everything else said, I remain unconvinced. Besides, the damage your people have caused is already done."

Tippy checks her rifle

"And i gotta go help clean it up."

Tippy see's Gus and smiles.

"Gus, I was half expecting you to be already jacked from working out while you waited on us."

Gus shrugs his shoulders and eyes the pod again.

"Got a kilometer run in on the way here. I take it that you took a detour and got another one of these?"

He gestures with the .40 towards Tychon's pod, and then the one in the VTOL.

"Yeah, and i'm counting on these not being a waste of time."

Corporal Rask and Private Gundarsson follow you, and before you know it you're all standing around the pod.
: Let's just get this stuff over with. It's not that far from the VTOL, we can just drag the damn thing.

Corporal Rask prepares to lift the second capsule.
