"Wouldn't we just take it to R&D? Study it? Why a choice? What are we gonna do, give it back to the Helians?"
: Yes.

Markus takes a bite of actually decent bacon, and tries to relax after the events of last night. He tries to dismiss the thought of one of his squadmates being gone.

Why dismiss it? You saw the body, and you saw the name on the casualty board.

He wonders what the hell happened to her, despite hearing what Gus said last night. He takes another small bite of food.

"...mornin', folks."

"We should go to speak with the Sky Marshal, Jaakko. It may not be our domain but I want to know what we'll do with the pods regardless. We shot them down, I'd say we'd be within our rights to ask."

"I agree. Should we take Elu as well?"

"I agree. Should we take Elu as well?"
Cualli glances at Elu, clearly taking a more concerned interest in the discussion now that he's involved. "You know what the Sky Marshal might do if he thinks you've gone rogue," she says carefully.

: I have not gone rogue.

: I have not gone rogue.
"I know you haven't, but people who don't know you like I do might not see it the same way. They might jump to the conclusion that you're working with the Imperials or Helians or... something."

Gus looks over to Cualli.

"Then we'll bring you as well," he says simply.

"We have two pods. One is active proof the Imperials are breaking the trade agreement they have with Helios. Giving Phobos to them may not change anything, but at this point, a chance to take some advantage away from the Imperials is worth a shot."

Cualli looks a bit surprised to find herself pulled into the matter, but she doesn't object.

"Those dirty bastards don't even care about their allies? Oh, I would love to see the consequences of that. Then again, we don't know how the Helians will react, but it's worth taking a risk, right?"

Gus looks over to Cualli.

"Then we'll bring you as well," he says simply.

: I am ready to leave whenever you are.

"I mean... alright," Cualli says, shrugging. She leaves to put her dishes away and comes back to stand behind Elu.

Jaakko finishes his breakfast.

"Let's go,"

Jaakko, Gus, Elu, and Cualli make their way towards the upper decks of the ship to meet with the Sky Marshal, when they spot him and a few others heading down a stairwell towards the lower decks.

Jaakko promptly salutes.

"Sky Marshal, sir,"

He pauses for a moment.

"Would you have time for a question, sir?"
