Ash hears the RWR squeal as the Tigershark picks up on the bandit MiGs' BVR scans.
"I've got spikes from the four bandits that turned to face us," Ash annunciates over the comms channel, "For bringing half their loving airforce, they don't seem to think much of us. Snowman, Blackeye, ascend another angel and go wide. If we make it through the missile screen, I'll bait the bandits and you jump in after."
"Blackeye, roger. I'll fly cover."
Ash looks out the canopy and watches Lorens climb and pull further away.
"You know what to do after you make a run or if someone tries to tail you, right?"
"Yeah. Extend to high, maintain an energy advantage. Don't try to turn fight. They can't fly or climb as fast as we can."
"Alright. Good. I just wanted to make sure."
Lorens sighs into his mask.
"You can trust me. Honestly Ash, I'm the one who's supposed to be acting concerned. For the love of Ark, can you please promise me you won't do anything stupid?"
"You're talking to the wrong guy, Snowman. I don't do stupid."
"Like hell you don't," Lorens mutters under his breath.
