Lorens brings the gun funnel onto his HUD and takes aim at the Hyperion. Though the target designator arc has yet to meet the in-range cue, he pulls the trigger and fires both Gauss cannons. The extreme recoil takes a few dozen knots off his airspeed.

Though nobody's looking at it, everybody is able to hear the deafening shriek of Palisade discharging its weapon upwards. A second, distant explosion follows as the reflecting platform is apparently hit by the beam. Nobody in Mjolnir saw the impact directly, but Frisk did and is now making sure people know it.
