Technically, you could although the consequences would either be:
Kick the player with the name "Ultra long loving gay name that occupies 50% of your screen"
Ask them to change it
Make them use a temporary name ingame (Like those Roleplaying Name scripts).
I could do this if I had time. I'll whip it up tomorrow if no one has done it yet.
This is not at all what he's requesting.
When you create a server, you put in the name of the your server. But there's no character limit for your server name so people sometimes make quite long server names. Then in the server list some of the server names are so long that they get cut off and people can't see the entire name of the server. He wants there to be a character limit for the server name when the person is creating the server so that the server names don't get cut off in the server list. Of course, this add-on would be 100x more useful if it were default though.
EDIT: I was hoping that I could just make a client sided mod to make it so you can see the full server name, but the stuff after the cut off isn't sent to you.
