can we please stop using piece of stuff brown townogies, because the inner workings of the most complex organic system ever to exist to us is not reducible to talking about a loving lamp?
You did compare an excellent computer with a loving lamp.
I failed to understand it. Particularly because alcohol shuts down functions of your brain rather than manipulate your brain.
The alcohol shuts down your mind. It doesn't make you happier or pleasured. It just turns off parts of your brain that wake you worry. Swallow an entire bottle and most if not all of the parts of your brain shut down. Think of your brain as a circuit breaker box. If you slowly start drinking glasses of alcohol, it will slowly start turning off the breakers. Drink an entire bottle in one go without having eaten and, instead of it being one or two fingers lowering one or two breakers, it's an entire hand lowering most of the box at once.
Shutting down the brain is manipulating the brain.
i was expecting some chemist stuff then an electrician barges in to tell us how alcohol worksgood enough anyways thank you for doing your daily deed for the blockland forums

I love how you just insult me indirectly rather than responding to my answer to you. Easy way out.
Alcohol triggers the release of endorphins into the system, reinforcing drinking behavior. Continued consumption of alcohol strengthens this reaction. The theory suggests that for those with a strong endorphin reaction (generally due to genetic factors), the pro-alcohol conditioning exaggerates the strength of arguments for drinking, and perpetually keeps drinking in the person's mind as a favorable option.
