You guys in the rec drugs thread are going to get yourselves killed one day. Always showing off your latest purchase of weed, your newest bong, your newest homemade bong, some story about how you almost got caught by your parents, or some story about how you had bad trip.
Are these two statements related? How is "showing off [my] latest purchase of weed, [my] newest bong, [my] newest homemade bong, some story about how [I] almost got caught by [my] parents, or some story about how [I] had a bad trip" going to get me killed? I don't buy or smoke weed, I don't own a bong, I don't homemake bongs, I don't live with my parents, and I've never had a bad trip. Even if I did all those things, the only one that could lead to my death is the homemade bong being made out of toxic material or
theoretically laced marijuana. But laced marijuana is the stuff of legends and I don't smoke weed (often) anyway, so I don't need a homemade bong and I don't really risk having laced weed.
Then there is always a guy who ends up dying because of drug hobby. "He was the life of the party, he was my friend, rest in piece bro."
People die from all kinds of hobbies. I'm not and will never advocate irresponsible drug use or drug abuse. Responsible drug use isn't any worse than many other hobbies.
No. Don't give young kids on the forums a wrong impression on those drugs. Just no.

And no, I was not being biased when looking for these sources. They were the first on google.
That was a poor rebuttal. I don't agree that heroin and cocaine are better for you than alcohol, but marijuana sure is. So I'm not going to dispute your first two sources not because it was a good argument but because I don't feel like playing devil's advocate for a bad cause. But linking the effects of a drug really isn't a proper argument, you have to explain the relationship between the effects of that drug and the effects of alcohol and how the effects of that drug are bad.
