dangit my plan failed

Get help and get support, what everyone else said. In particular:
as someone who had an uncle addicted to heroin, an two alcoholic friends

unless you exert a serious amount of mental power, an amount that most 17 year old have never used before, into never ever going near a beer or even forgetin, baily's irish cream, i think you're going to need serious help. this isn't something you can just say you're never going to do again, this is addiction and you should get a sponsor, because the worst may not be behind you and i've seen this happen too many times
this is true as far as i can tell.
Good luck man.

I've had alcohol poisoning before. That stuff sucks. I found an old bottle of 777 crown whiskey in my dads closet that had sat there for a year. Needless to say it had plenty of time to ferment. Like an idiot I drank the whole bottle within probably an hour or so. The stuff was so potent you coud pour a bit into the cap and light it with a lighter and a blue flame would sit there for a bit.

I don't remember passing out or anything much really, except the next day I woke up feeling like stuff. Major stuff. I thought at first I had thrown up while conked out but instead I guess I didn't finish the bottle and literally fell asleep right where I was sitting at the computer desk, and spilled the last bit of it. I almost immediately felt the urge to vomit and ran to the toilet, to no avail. I couldn't thrown anything up. It was the worse dry heaving experience ever.

Alcohol poisoning forgets you up bro. Too much alcohol can kill you. Your lucky bro and im glad u got your mind in the right set now. A drink every now and then isn't a bad thing, it's binge drinking thats bad.

Maybe you shouldn't drink alcohol if you can't handle it.
True but richardish. Everyone has to have a learning experience at some point. Ever been so forgeted up the only thing you can do is fall out ?

I hope u get to feelin better soon Rally! Just make sure to keep hydrated with water, and eat small amounts of food to slowly nurse yourself back to health if your having trouble holding things down

jebus that must of been pretty terrifying oh gosh :s
bruh i am so glad your okay and super proud that your going to go sober.
Its a big step but i know you can do it!

c:

holy wow. That must have been intense.
Hope you get better soon. :c

ive never had alcohol posioning, but ive had my fair share of aspartame poisoning, and thats super painful. i kinda wonder how they compare... i imagine alcohol would be much worse

i hope everything turns out for the better!!

How come its always you yelling at people for being somewhat of a jerk or jokative in serious topics?
Because it boils my beans
It's just that much more difficult to do something if people tell you you can't, particularly in such an off-hand manner
the whole "I don't mean to be a richard" thing should basically be an indicator that you should rethink what you're saying
I don't mean to be a vigilante, but I've also seen Steve do things like that before. He's generally not a bad guy but like on occasion he does this kind of thing.

I do appreciate that I should have worded it more appropriately. This is not a topic to start fights in.

holy stuff 120 5'8" eat something

Unfortunately cold turkey doesn't work. This isn't something you say you are done with and sit on the couch all day, you'll probably throw yourself in that position again and again until finally kills you.

You have already taken the first step and realized you have a problem, an addiction. You should take the next step and talk to someone, preferably a close friend, family member or someone with experience. Perhaps your parents, school councilor, teacher, friend, maybe a sponsor like Camel said. Look into and see what your resources are to help you.

Remember this though: if you want to change yourself for the better, you are going to need to going to commit and actually work toward it.

Life changes are a wonderful thing, I hope you can find this new route for yourself.

seizures are scary. I've had plenty in my life, glad you got through it all. Harm offers some sound advice, also, get well soon. I'm also open to PMs, or Steam if you'd like, be safe Rally
