Well, why would one mourn the death of a bunch of people that died in a place that they've never even come close to? People in here were sad about Ben E. King because they enjoyed his music. The majority of the people here, if not all, didn't know anyone at all in the Nepal earthquake.

People dying in Nepal was a sad event that can be mourned by anyone. I didn't need a grandma there to recognize that 6000+ people lost their lives and that is a huge tragedy.

I've never come close to most of the people on the list, but it's really irrelevant who I think should be mourned. I contribute by posting my thoughts on what were losses worth mourning.

By the way you can have someone's cat on there but the literal deaths of thousands doesn't fit anywhere?
