I'm extremely angry, and I'm not afraid to admit it's an extremely stuff game that doesn't deserve anywhere near the amount of money it's gaining because of the stuffty streamers who exaggerate the actual 'fun' of this game.

I'm already extremely angry, and I'm not afraid to admit it's an extremely stuff game that doesn't deserve anywhere near the amount of money it's gaining because of the stuffty streamers who exaggerate the actual 'fun' of this game.

Games are just as much of products as any other art form. There is obviously enough demand for games like five nights at freddy's to make a profitable series.

My biggest take from this is that it's excited that people are getting into the horror genre again

i wanted to post a what the hell video clip but then i bumped into this creepy ass video of drawings of hell, i still don't know my opinion about it

still blows my mind that people like it

whatever if they like it they do I'm not interfering

"why dont you like things that are pretentious like me?'
Alternative, all you do on these forums is attempt to call people out with your "wowe zinger" lines without actually rebutting with any logical arguments.

You probably don't understand the meaning of pretentious, and you probably use it as a generic insult since they're the only types of "argument" you're capable of throwing at people.

Oh god, time for more FNAF content on the SFM/GMod workshop front page. forget...

Also, we have a megathread for this. http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=264977.0

No, I agree with him.

McJob, I fully think your opinions are mostly justified and respectable, but your flaw is the fact that you believe you've "transcended" everyone on the forums. It gets really annoying after a while, and I believe that just pointing out other's schicks and minor flaws makes you look like you're going for low hanging fruit.

but your flaw is the fact that you believe you've "transcended" everyone on the forums.
Prove it. I don't loving go around like I'm the ultra member and that I'm the best at everything. I talk about the things I'm confident in and I'm a critic because I'm not used to people who can't loving handle criticism.

So I'm now only allowed to praise everybody and act like everybody is perfect?

I'm cynical and I'm brutally honest. I praise the things that surpass my expectations, but nothing that doesn't deserve it. That's me in a nutshell. What loving annoys me is how many people are so brown town whenever I give something they like a slam, but it's okay when I contribute to the "forum circlejerk".

That's like saying that people enjoy Transformers movies, so Michael Bay should just keep making more.
This is true, especially for small videogames. If you have a videogame like FNaF, and it blows up, don't make more, be happy it blew up, guess who's going to be paying bills? You, are. Now patch your game and add some stuff then move on to the next development cycle of a new game that hopefully has nothing to do with the previous one.
Don't try to be a AAA game and add sequels, but also don't try to be Payday 2 and update your game to absolute dronkey drangus.

you always have to mention your game design career and how much better you are than these people and how you study game design/psychology/other stuff and that's probably why you feel about stuff that way, etc.

i don't want to be rude but you really do come off as pretentious

Some people, like McJob and I, for example, have put a lot of time and money into knowing more than the average person on videogame developing and marketing. We're not being pretentious, we're just stating our opinion like everyone else, however our opinion might seem more critical because we, to be frank, know more about the subject as we studied it; not even putting the fact on the table that some of us want to make it our function in life, as well.
However, wording of opinions comes in place, as always; but McJob didn't go wrong with his wording in my opinion.
I'm not also trying to come over as pretentious or as a whiteknight, I'm just trying to express that people who have studied a subject often are more critical about comments related to their passion, as they A) know more, and B) could be tired of hearing the same comment a lot as they are active in the industry and hear the same old story often.

Less than a year and these guys pump out the same game three times, the cash grabbing is too much.
Is has the same essential formula, but it's still a very different game (in my opinion)

unfortunately, FNAF 1 was actually a pretty semi-enjoyable and original game.

and now we are on the third one.

And Mcjob, while I generally agree with your opinons, you very often dismiss others opinions as wrong, especially when it is about games.

opinions
That's the key word here folks
Every opinion is equally valid
