i think a portal 3 game is possible, and maybe in the pipeling, but this is far from proof.

The guy also said "I couldn't show certain shots I wanted to show" meaning there is more of this that has not been shown yet.

He's not necessarily old, he could've been damaged in an excessively long fall or something like that. I know in the co-op you don't get damaged by long falls but maybe he got dipped in the acid or something and then took a fall.
