Boo hoo, call the police. Seriously, if you're going to drama us all for something that really doesn't effect anyone, then that's pathetic. It's not like these threads will last an eternity, it comes and goes like every other short-lived fad on these forums. Most of these topics die so quickly, that it's incredibly easy just to ignore them, and no one is forcing you to take part in them or to even click on them.
yes this drama was necessary. im surprised no one made one earlier. these ama threads got to go because they act as a get out of jail card for people to mass stuff post, including all the replies made to the thread by other users.
I wouldn't consider it stuff posting either. If someone is asking me a
joke question in my
joke thread, I'm most likely going to reply with something that is humorous or not true. I doubt 90% of these AMAs are taken completely serious.
the only people who seem to disagree are mostly if not all just the people who made these threads before. its not a bonding experience, its just hosting a trash convention for all the homeless to attend to in the middle of a "nice" neighborhood. it leaves off a bad smell. i agree with dont care dont post, and i follow that, its just that like many people i reside on this forum permanently and dont like to see garbage thrown down my street and people influencing it.
Well, in this case, you're the overly sensitive police officer that arrests anyone they find wrong and different than them. This brown townogy makes no sense btw. If we're all "homeless", then why do more than half of the people who made these topics have a higher reputation than you do? Next, I like how you put Off Topic as a "nice" neighborhood, even with the quotations. Last that I knew, OT has stuff threads every day, and even the occasional fad like this every month or so. The AMA topic fad has actually been around for years and years, and has any of the topics stayed or caused a huge impact? If it really leaves that "bad" of a smell on your precious Blockland Forums, then I think you should leave. Clearly nobody has a real problem with it.

Again, like I stated above, it's not really stuffting into off-topic. The threads have meaning (for the most part), and people can understand and reply to it normally, joke or not.
This is stuffting onto Off Topic:
People may have different opinions of "stuffting out whatever you want", but for some of these topics,
they actually want to be asked questions. A lot of people jump on the bandwagon because they seek attention. I'll admit, I crave attention a lot of the time too, because it's normal for a human to do so.
I hate these threads too, and I made mine as a joke. A lot of these are made for fun, just to get some funny and some actual questions. If you can't handle a topic that will last for 12 hours with 2 pages, then I don't know what to tell you.
