Bump:
So after two weeks of bullstuff, my motherboard gives out and kills itself. I don't know what happened or why, but it just died after I plugged in the new hard drive I ordered. I'm using a prebuilt I purchased about a year and a half ago.
I salvaged the GPU, RAM, and hard drive. All of those parts work fine, but the PSU and CPU are being ditched. I'm considering whether or not to sell my GPU because I want to start a fresh new build with brand new parts, all the way around (except HDD obviously).
PSU six to seven years old; 1000 Watts.
CPU is half a year old, six-core Vishera with 3.1-3.9 GHz.
Thanks for the help erryone.
