AKA you can stop bad diseases from happening, but don't give people amazing and super soldier traits.

I really don't see the issue with genetic modification to improve humans. Better eyesight, more strength, less physical/genetic degredation with age. If those kinds of things are done, it's only natural that super soldiers are going to come as a result of whatever genetic mods you do. Even with disease resistance, soldiers that are damn near immune to disease would be a powerful force indeed.
