Wow, that sounds pretty fun actually. A nice change of gameplay from racing.
If I had to give an idea for somethong, what about an obstacle course that tests you on different and unique driving skills? I think that could be pretty fun.

You should also add some really nice athmosphere to the game such as a long beatiful river with a waterfall to boot
or a loving temple you can drive trough that'd be kick-ass

Has anyone already recommended a level editor of sorts? (unless that was a given) i think that'd be neat you could go the trials route but with cars and not on a 2d plane kinda thing

Frankly I prefer the cars not to be the chibi cars, but it's decided so whatever.

OH. I just had a brilliant idea, instead of having to go into the menu to change maps, just make a ferry/underground tube train, Then you select the map you want and drive into/onto the ferry/underground tube train.

Nothing really, But I guess it's kinda like having a car the size of an ATV.
