i'm not liking the wheels on the small cars. something about them is just ugh.

Very early preview of the first map.



UPDATE: No longer will you drive into a pool containing an infinitesimally thin plane of water that is invisible from underneath! Now introducing...
WATER! Complete with water-esque physics, too. Still a bit buggy, but hey, it's still early. ;)

I made the wheels thinner and the front wheels slightly smaller, you can see that on the pictures I posted, hopefully that makes it better.

Well we didn't do any AIs or multiplayer yet, but I'm pretty sure you won't be launched to the stratosphere when you collide on someone else.

I don't dislike the small cars in general but they clash really badly with the rest of the map

yeah, the map generally has realistic looking proportions and the chibi cars don't match em

this would help, i think the chunky little solid-color toy look worked when it was in a chunky solid-color environment

Just so everyone is aware, the A) trees aren't going to be realistic, they'll be more like the ones in the demo, and B) the road textures are the default ones from the road constructor we are using. We haven't had the time/ability to change them yet.

The trees aren't the only problem, most of the stuff in the map throws out the "chibi car" feel and lets in this weird "I made this game in 2000" feel.
