Lothair I proposes they buy the land and the Lower and Upper Parliament agree. While a large sum, they feel that it will repay itself, as the land there is valuable and fertile. The sum is traded with the locals, and surveyors chart the land and establish borders while civilians move to establish settlements.


Additionally, the first effective steam engines are put into factories to replace water wheels; they vastly increase the area in which factories can be built, no longer needing to be located on rivers. This technology is adapted to work on small scale mining railways. Larger engines are not feasible yet, but will be soon.

Burellis lands a colony in the Third World, named Drulland, claiming a rather large portion of land with a population of mainly uncivilized tribes who have not seen First World inhabitants or their technology before.  They want to trade for glass beads, which Burellis is gladly able to provide, in exchange, they present a resource surprisingly plentiful in their land.  Ships are sent back to Doven to port where whey can then use to return to Burellis to give the good news.

No. I meant this from the very, very beginning, but you were unable to understand what I meant by state even when I made the brown townogy of the United States and their federated states. I'm kind of tired of it. Not worth my time.

The term of a federated state was invented by the United States, however, it was created when the US was founded as a confederacy, when the States were more or less independent countries.  The name stuck, and therefore the term "State" as recognized by most of the US is only a colloquialism and a common misnomer.  The true definition of a State is a self-governing entity.
