In a hard fought victory, Boresław Kolar defeats the CWP candidate and succeeds Novi Kiska. In his inaugural speech, he outlines his executive plan for his term, including "conquer with culture," rather than the expansionism Vlast currently carries out. He promises to push for workers' rights.
However, the Duma is severely divided, with the narrow majority being held by the CWP in the Upper Duma. Political lines develop in the lower house, but most current Lower Representatives remain unaligned.
This election, there were almost seven million votes cast, meaning there is upwards of 14 million people now living in Vlast, with a lot of them being newly added through territorial claims.
The military's strength has increased drastically. There are now 100,000 footmen, 12,000 Light Cavalry, 5,000 light cavalry, and dozens of new batteries.
Many of the fourth and third rates have been completed.
