So, uh, what's with Drozjenat's army? Was just looking through after seeing that another empire appeared and noticed that they have some pretty crazy stats for any army, let alone an army that's found almost entirely in the third world. Could you explain to me how that works? I can understand large armies in the third world, sure, but how did they get infantry with what I assume are muskets? Or "unmatched artillery"? It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

I'll update when I get home.

Also Agent, that's a bit too much land to start.  Would you like me to prioritize it toward the yellow section, or would you like to slim it down as you like?

speaking of which results on this?
Like in other areas, the local strongman decides to become a protectorate rather than face a martial confrontation.  He does, however, have the better part of his wealth hidden away shortly before making the decision public and official, and increases the readiness of his armed forces to consolidate what power he is to retain.

  • Third World Tier
    • Moderate general population density.
    • Contemporary technology rare or nonexistent.
    • Generally low social development.
    • Chance of finding an organized civilization is around 10%.
    • Colonization is moderately easy.
    • Resources generally untapped, or plentiful.
These are not absolute.  There will be very few civilizations in the Third World, but those that do exist and are larger will be resultant nations from vast empires, or are vast nations themselves.  Like how the Dudal Confederation showed up in the First World, the world itself can differ.  These nations, therefore, can tend to be larger or more organized.  I will modify some information for the Drozjenat, however.

Additionally, regarding the Dudal Confederation, let me know how y'all would like to split it up, whether you'll be admitting the territory as annexed, colonial, puppet state, etc.  I would assume the conflict would be about over by now.

Burellis finishes the foundation of three colonies mainly designed to be self-sufficient and to rely on local goods for support.  Port cities are established in each of these locations.  As local nations have been found nearby Einstadt and Zweistadt, expansion plans are set back.  The region around Dreistadt, however is currently being surveyed, slowly, however, due to the amount of rain and thick forests in the region.

Scratch it then, but the idea remains the same, he's not letting go of power easily.  The military is dissolved, but officers do not to stop any man from taking his gun and as much ammunition and powder as he can carry, and any documentation of who was in the military disappears in a fire.  The military officially does not exist, but the region has not lost its fangs either.  It's made evident that all this, which is officially branded as unsanctioned theft, is not primarily in preparation for rebellion, but more of a bargaining chip for maintaining some level of local autonomy.

Also, Plethora:

Burellis attempts to contact the peoples between itself and Espovon, with the goal of annexing the territory.  Burellis promises the same as it did to the peoples in the recently I acquired eastern zone.

The reference post:

Quote from: Burellian Standard Annexation Proposition
A statement goes out to the inhabitants of the land saying that they intend to annex this land, and offer the option of peaceful submission, in exchange for all assets and liabilities of the Burellian rule, and the right to citizenship in seven years, or war, which will result in the loss of the chance to citizenship until an indenture period or conscription period has expired in ten years, followed by a five year period before citizenship can be gained.  This, with the exception to children under the age of five, who may receive citizenship in five years, should they attend a Burellian academy, or elders over the age of 60, which may gain citizenship within seven years.  If any of those exempted participate in resistance, it shall require a branding of treason, but result in the normal indenture service.

Whos Chais?

For their first rule of order as a new empire, Harold tries to make more factories to make the government stronger. He would remove the embargo and set up three barracks in Kirk, Owin, and Jarvon. Soon, people start to join the military.

The UEK counters with its own bargaining chip- almost three hundred and fifty thousand men, armed to the teeth, under the UEK's banner. The UEK's military.

is "Bur." a Border country?

"Bur." is an island controlled by Burellis, just shortened.

Chais appears to be an NPC nation.

The UEK gives the northern tribes a final warning to give up their arms or face conquest.

Political envoys are sent north, all the way up to the Obalei confederation. They offer assimilation into the Republic of Vlast.

In a large capitalist undertaking, dozens of ships sail and set up land in Avaela, east of the Drozjenat Empire. The state has sanctioned this undertaking. A tract in the mountains has been claimed.

The bearing of arms being an ancestral right not violated even by the most corrupt despots in the northern territory's history, neither the strongman nor the people obey the ultimatum, and instead, "as part of the dissolution of the armed forces" the majority of the region's remaining military stockpile is sold to the general public for a pittance.  The UEK will grant the region "reasonable autonomy" or face a probably successful but drawn out and bloody conflict.

The region of Burrelis's interest responds by mobilizing local militia forces to the border and regular infantry and artillery forces to major cities, and issuing the statement that Burrelis "has no valid claim to these lands, and any attempt to unlawfully end the independence of these free people will be met with due force.
