Espovon begins construction of two new Warships, emphasis was placed on a large main gun near the bow but was later scrapped and put back towards another date with different ships when more planning and research has been done.

The ships however continue to be built, with the original thought of a heavy gun on top removed, the ships will be able to carry more than expected.

A rather large ship of the Burellian fleet stops offshore from the current naval bombardment.  It has very few cannons for a ship that would allow between 112 and 130 cannons to be on-board, only 46, however, on its deck is a rather large artillery gun on a rotatable base.  The crew turn the gun to face the city pointed upwards by roughly 37°, load an explosive shell into the gun, and then fire.  The shock from the gun causes the boat to rock slightly, and the shell travels through the air, and instead of hitting what is believed to be an armory, the shell flies over the town and into a grain supply, instantly destroying some unfortunate farmer's harvest for the year.  A second shot is fired, now three degrees lower, and it flies off to the side of the suspected armory and blows up a post office.  The gun is fired four more times, all misses, before Admiral First Princess Ormanda recalls the Longbow I to be reassessed.

The rest of the fleet continues bombardment.  As the Espov fleet merges with the Burellian fleet, a portion of the Burellian fleet separates off to attack a beachhead three miles south where artillery has been set up to cut off any reinforcements.

A port is created in some of the other major cities. Forts are created in the north. Mortars are made in munitions factories.

The strongman is reasonably pleased with this proposition, but wants assurances that he will maintain his power and that this offer isn't just to determine who has guns in preparation for a purge.  It is made clear, however, that he is more than willing to cooperate

Tereri warships join the Espov and Burrelian fleets in the bombardment, fulfilling its duty as a member of DIMA.  There is a sizable majority in the Teleri Parliament that would much rather not engage in any war of aggression, but the fleet is sent.

The area of dispute, after a brief series of successful land battles and the total annihilation of its naval forces, offers a conditional surrender by which the region maintains some autonomy and faces no further military action.
