and unless im mistaken, this episode takes place before the recent "steven bomb" episodes, because steven is having trouble with his shield. in episode 49, however, he pulls out a big-ass shield to save everyone from dying. from what i've seen, the episode is about uncle grandpa unlocking steven's belly shield powers. you know what that means?

wouldn't it be odd if a completely unrelated show that happened to air around the same time as steven universe ended up becoming part of a major plot point
