i think I heard somewhere that the relationship between ruby and sapphire was supposed to be romantic, im pretty sure it was that 107 facts thing, how will they pass off a "lesbian" relationship in a children's show? I feel like some parents wont like that

I put lesbian in quotations because gems are technically not gendered but it appears they are both female from the outside looking in or if you just don't know anything about the lore

i am so excited to see what happens. we haven't had many major plot reveals lately (which is probably ultimately a good thing since it would be silly to constantly have major plot development) but i suspect a lot is gonna go down in those five episodes

jasper has to come back at some point. mostly because it wouldn't really make sense for her not to. malachite couldn't stay stable forever. opal separated after just realising that she forgot something. a fusion that exists purely to keep another gem (that denounces fusion) in check would probably be way difficult to keep going.

i'm more interested to see what's going on with peridot though. esp after that comment of a crew member saying not to call her an antagonist so soon. i think it would be super cool if she joined up with the crystal gems for a bit (whether it be completely willingly or not) or something
