oh yeah i think that prediction exactly was made. it's so weird how spot on some fan predictions are. then again, rebecca kinda makes stuff happen like this on purpose.

i disagree it was amazing

onion is amazing and the episode was amazing. it may not look like it did much but it was important:

amethyst was able to relax and find comfort in one of her old friends, thus bringing two, or three depending on how you look at it, of the crystal gems back into a more 'stable' or relaxed mindset. meaning, now the arc can focus on pearl, and perhaps even steven, doing the same. in that sense, the episode achieved a good amount without making any big reveals or moves. amethyst met up with an old friend, we learned more about onion and his family, amethyst learned that she's an inspiration to someone which is super awesome given her self-esteem problems. on top of that, we got vague confirmation that onion is in fact human (if people did in fact believe otherwise), and the episode was absolutely hilarious.

so ya i think it was a pretty nice episode

onion doesnt have any ears, and he's not a crystal gem, so he's deaf. that's why he doesnt listen to anybody telling him to stop and also why he doesn't speak.

he can look people in the face to get an idea of what they're saying though
