Author Topic: The Yin-Yang Tournament of Blockland!  (Read 1255 times)

Hello folks! I have decided to host a Japanese-/Chinese-style tournament!

How it works:
There are two people. They will each choose from two different classes: Ninja, or Samurai (Yeah I know, it's Japanese, but I couldn't think of anything Chinese). They will then face off against each other. The winner will go on to the next round, while the person who loses will be kicked out of the tournament.
There will be at least 20 people total in the tournament, and 5 matches each Saturday Morning (Afternoon or Evening sometimes perhaps).

Signups:
To sign up for the tournament, copy the following form:
Code: [Select]
IGN:
BL_ID:
Player Color:

Current Players:
EV0_ (BL_ID 122066, Color: Purple)
No Name_ (BL_ID 122811, Color: Neon Green)
Scylo (BL_ID 47113, Color: Cyan)

Basics of Playing:
Swing with the left mouse button (LMB) (Default).
Hold LMB for charged attack.
Parrying: I think this can be done, but I can't quite work out the kinks. I think swing while the other guy's swinging.

Thats not what they mean, it looks really flat and dull, couldnt you spend 5 minutes to make the ying yang sign on the ground?

That doesn't look like a yin-yang...

I know what it is. I was having too much trouble making it round.

EDIT: Thanks. I'd forgotten one slight detail.

How does this look?

It's not even on all sides

0 = space

x = block

1. 000xx000
2. 00xxxx00
3. 0xxxxxx0
4. xxxxxxxx
5. xxxxxxxx
6. xxxxxxxx
7. 0xxxxxx0
8. 000xx000

You have 3 layers on top and only 2 layers on the bottom. You have 3 layers of 8 blocks.

Oh my goodness. I'm going to go rebuild that.

I just made my 3rd Yin-Yang:

I believe this one's perfectly symetrical.

Now then, to make a new map...

I made a new map!

I know it's small, but you don't need a map much bigger for a 1v1.
The bleachers might need some more work though.

Anyone want to sign up?
