I'm from southern California, never heard it used besides once as a joke. Where are you at?
And what's wrong with those things? Vine is kinda dumb but Kik and Instagram are fine imo.

Really? Same here! I'm in San Bernardino.... eugh, the crime rate is soaring here. But, the apps themselves aren't the problem, its just how annoying those damned kids can be. Not to mention 80% of my school's population is emo and they post crap like 'this is true bravery' on instagram. But, yeah. I hope you see where I'm going with this.

I'm doing online schooling as well and I'm heading back to public school next year to finish up because I want to socialize.

Best way to get over social anxiety is to force yourself into social environments.
I was the same way till I went to college.

You'll get better.
There's a difference between social anxiety and being shy.

gonna bump this because i have another issue related to this. so i really love band, and marching band too. i want to join again because i liked it my freshman and my sophomore year. but this year i'm more anxious about it than i used to. i'm extremely anxious about messing up during the show, a lot actually. what should i do?

Do it?

i want to but im so confused on what to do.

Stepping in on you stepping in on me stepping in.
The only way to get over mental disorders is to learn how to avoid it, it will not be worked away, it will always be there. Unless you destroy your emotions with medicine, like you said.

Fine, forget it.
You wont be fine.

guess im one of the lucky ones. i hated doing things with other people too and i hated being in social situations, but then i started forcing myself into them and suddenly social interaction wasn't so hard

i want to but im so confused on what to do.
whats confusing about this? i think you're making this harder than it actually is. if you want to do it then do it theres nothing wrong with doing it if you like it

i'm confused because i have a love for something and i'm deathly afraid of it.

i'm confused because i have a love for something and i'm deathly afraid of it.
why are you afraid of it? cause theres people there? theres people everywhere who cares

are you afraid of making a mistake in front of everyone? its ok they teach you how to do it so messing up is ok. its not like everyones immediately going to look down on you for messing up its high school lol

when one person messes up during a show, it's a pretty damn noticeable thing. also, if you mess up, everyone else messes up.

I know funny people who say "bruh" occasionally who go on none of those social media websites.

it's a constant battle between depression and loneliness, usually it's a stalemate, working together to drive me crazy.
