Anyway, I'm looking for good tutorials for turning rough sketches into lineart. If anyone knows of any then I'd like to see them.

I tried tracing over sketches, but found just capturing the "block in" of it and working from there felt less clustered and more focused.

Also that portrait is cool.

It's because I'm forcing myself to draw in methods and styles that I'm completely uncoordinated in. I don't see you completely stepping outside your own boundaries in terms of art.

To further clarify, I have only started this year to work on my digital painting as well. This means starting to make use of a tablet and go wild instead of carefully using a mouse. I've tried different styles and stuff. I only post some things in the drawings megathread, the rest is found here.

I'm sorry for being aggressive, but I'm depending on my ego to stay intact throughout this whole project. If you make a joke about me not being able to get things done on time, it really messes me up. It's all really fragile.

Try not to spend more than 3 hours on a painting at most so you don't overwhelm yourself.

If your serious about learning to draw/paint/etc, you should not use style when starting out. While it may look cool it generally stunts your growth as an artist. You should stick to realistic stuff for now, as you look to know the basics and youd probably learn alot faster anyway.

Yeah, I don't think I would take anyone's advice around here regarding good artistic decisions. With a handful of exceptions, like say, uh, Squideey.
