Sorry I'm adding my two cents without reading all 10 pages of the thread, but I honestly believe that merging with Off Topic would not work out well, since Off-Topic moves rather quickly, and forum adventure-oriented boards generally move slowly on all forums I've seen. Adventures would constantly be bumped, and it'd be a real bummer for everyone really. I think just a name change would work.
