Author Topic: Pizzaria in my town raises $842k over gays rights debacle, reopens to full house  (Read 35261 times)

a gay person can go up to an anti-gay person and say:

So?

why are you guys summarizing the thread EVERY SINGLE PAGE ?
oh well keep going

2. Whereas having an illness is hard because the illness itself is hard, the only reason being gay is hard is because of people. The solution to being gay being hard is to fix people being a jerk about it. Time spent researching a "cure" for homoloveuality is time taken away from researching a cure for actual diseases
loving hell, there are specialists for every different medical field, it's not like someone researching cancer is qualified to research homoloveuality... that would be more leaned towards psychological science.

WON'T SOMEONE PLEASE THINK OF THE family men???

THE MONEY WON'T STOP

THEY MADE TWO THOUSAND IN TWO MINUTES

How about not being able to conceive? Some people feel adoption is not the same.
How about finding it hard to find a partner? There are far less homoloveual people than straight...
1. Is kind of half a problem, if that makes sense. They're still biologically capable of conception, they'd just rather not do it directly. There's surrogate mothers and sperm donors. It's hella expensive and still not quite the same, but it's still a hell of a lot less if a problem than being disowned by your family or fired from your job
2. Is moreso of finding partners through the right channels. A guy can't just go up to and start hitting on a random guy as easily as he could a girl, but there are plenty of areas catered to gays

Also I'm not just assuming the above, I have a gay friend who has told me all the problems he's having being gay.
I don't have these problems

OK yeah sure
But why would someone choose to specialize is "gay curing" when they could specialize in something more helpful

go memories pizza!

Around 10% of the human population is gay, there would be high demand if a cure would actually be found.

I don't have these problems
But you're not every other gay person.

hell, i wouldn't cater them either.

Tbh there is no "correct" side of this argument because everyone is in the wrong in some way.

- The protesters are going on verbal rampages by threatening the owners, trashing their reputation, and going out of their way to make their lives harder.
- The owners are taking advantage of a situation that shouldn't have even happened to make hundreds of thousands of dollars. I understand losing business to some extent but this is a total "lods emone" moment.
- The media asks provocative questions to instigate more emotional distress, thus giving themselves more content to report.

At this point, I don't think the gay couple even has anything to do with the situation anymore.

But why would someone choose to specialize is "gay curing" when they could specialize in something more helpful
You say "more helpful" as if gay conversion therapies do some kind of good.

Around 10% of the human population is gay, there would be high demand if a cure would actually be found.
And you say "cure" as if homoloveuality is some kind of illness. Why do you care? Does it cause you physical pain every time a gay couple is married?

But you're not every other gay person.
And you sure as hell aren't, as you've demonstrated with the monumental amount of ignorance you've showcased in this thread.

hell, i wouldn't cater them either.
Congratulations! You're part of the problem!

Congratulations! You're part of the problem!
the problem is the gays attacking them for having beliefs

Calm, all I'm saying is that it would benefit gay people if they had the option to convert straight successfully, obviously the only way to do this is through research which is not happening.
