Author Topic: Pizzaria in my town raises $842k over gays rights debacle, reopens to full house  (Read 34828 times)

But in turn it's removing the freedom the gay couple have of getting served anywhere they want?

Maybe if the gay couple actually existed, which they don't seem to

General, what are you trying to accomplish anyways? Memories pizza is getting almost a million dollars for this, and the gay people who were supposedly discriminated against don't even exist
Yeah this became off-topic as the argument progressed, originally it was that businesses should have the right to serve who they please.

Lol well not according to the media...  :cookieMonster:

oh shoot i left this topic for like half a day and now its 20 pages

Yeah this became off-topic as the argument progressed, originally it was that businesses should have the right to serve who they please.

They already have the right to server who they please, it's just that everyone else has a right to be outraged about it

If you have a problem with how this system works, then read a thing or two about business and public relations

I have the right to be outraged about the people who are outraged about it  :cookieMonster:

It's different every state and country... In general I just agree with businesses having right to serve who they like.

i have the right to be outraged about the people who are outraged about the people who are outraged about it.

so the fund is for the anti-gays?
lol
gotta be homophobic one way or another i guess, be it donating to a pizza thing or to yell at people on the street

yeah lets force all obgyns to do abortions since its not their abortion and theyre getting paid
Thats a whole other issue. Also I wasnt suggesting force at all. I just think its loving stupid to have all this drama over a pizza service when people have the opportunity to take a much more neutral stance on the issue.

i only support their denial of service if it goes against their religion. which it is

i only support their denial of service if it goes against their religion
Why

yeah lets force all obgyns to do abortions since its not their abortion and theyre getting paid
That's not the situation.

Say we have an obgyn who offers abortion as a service. A rape victim who has become pregnant as a result of her loveual assault attempts to obtain an abortion from this obgyn, but the obgyn declines, claiming that pregnancies resulting from rape are divine will, and the obgyn is unwilling to go against God's will. The state learns of the situation and passes a law barring discrimination against rape victims. The obgyn must now either perform the abortion or cease to offer abortions as a service (or else continue discrimination and face legal consequences).

i only support their denial of service if it goes against their religion. which it is
Where in the bible does it say that you can't serve pizza to homoloveuals?

I have the right to be outraged about the people who are outraged about it
>say "the only consequence should be people getting mad at you"
>get mad when that happens
I can't even tell what your stance is
