almost every single massively populated server is, to be frank, complete stuff. hell, some of them are really fun (even though most are heavily flawed) but the part of these servers that is so awful are the people on them. i'm gonna try to break down why i think these servers are massive failures. in most of these servers, the way the gamemode/minigame is designed is atrocious. in most cases, the second the player joins the odds are stacked against them. not only do they have to climb to the top, but the people already at the top make sure to make it as hard as possible for them to make it there. whether it be owning some sort of monopoly over the server resources or destroying any opportunities any new players might have, they always find a way. this creates 3 groups of people who are willing to actually stay in the server for this garbage. one group who is winning, one who is losing and ok with it, and one who is sick of losing, so they do everything in their power to be the biggest starfish they can. it's like if somebody trapped you in a cage and you just started spamming the alarm emote in the hopes it would annoy them so much you would be let go. or like when the flying dutchman got rid of spongebob after capturing him because he was so annoying. possibly the worst of all is the admins and hosts supporting this system. generally, the admins try their hardest and are pretty trustworthy people, although that is very clearly not the case in some of these servers. the hosts in most servers are so loving awful that it destroys any potential their server had. they dont care about their own rules, they ignore everybody on the server, and if you have a complaint or criticism you can be damn sure they're gonna say "if you don't like it then leave." why should they care if people like the server or not, the server attracts those 3 aforementioned groups of morons like moths to a felt-covered flame.
where im going with this is please, please host good servers. even something as simple as go-kart is better than something like the above. even stuffty family rps are better than this if the host isnt a talking trashcan. this game has so much potential, and i hate seeing it go to waste.
