or maybe because it happens to black people more frequently

I like how people witness maybe 2 police brutality protests/riots/whatever back-to-back and get salty but unarmed black people have been murdered in 2015 already and there haven't been any major protests or riots.

Fleeing felon, involved in a felony/armed and dangerous? You are supposed to shoot them to stop them. If they fall over wounded and alive, okay it stops their detain them and secure the area until EMTS can arrive. If they die, secure so that it can be preserved.

Everything must be documented and photographed. Shell casing, wounds, police reports, witness testimonies.

8 shots excessive? Well people react differently to different things, plus with adreline and split second decisions that mag goes from full to empty in just a few seconds.

If he wanted to live, maybe he shouldn't have run away. Maybe he shouldn't have committed a potential crime in the first place.
