I can understand being hesitant about the Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin and other similar cases. The evidence was not conclusive enough to say whether the prosecuted were guilty or not
But this seems open and shut to me.
The guy is pretty much limping away. He's like 50 years old or something. He ran so slowly. The cop doesn't even seem to attempt to chase him. He just stays where he is and shoots him.
He was stopped for having a broken taillight.
The cop drops his taser next to the guy.
In his testimony, the cop says he 'feared for his life', despite the video showing that the man was running away from the cop, not the other way around.
The cop didn't attempt CPR or to resuscitate him. Neither did his peers.
Yes
Because if he hadn't been doing something illegal why would he run?
He could have been selling drugs to minors or have plans to rob a bank
One thing is certain he was doing something illegal
Which of course means he deserves to be killed. Not even apprehended or put on trial or searched.
The justice system in America operates on the presumption of innocence. It is not the officer's job to presume guilt, it is his job to apprehend criminals and suspects
humanely so they can be put on trial.
This is clearly police brutality.
